Lovebirds are neat little parrots. They look like miniture
parrots. Although they don't talk, they're great clowns and will amuse themselves
for
hours in their cages. Give them a paper clip and they'll make a wonderful
toy out of it!
Only 6-7 inches in length, they're great apartment size birds. An old
myth is that you need two lovebirds together in order for them to be happy.
That is not true. In fact, if you want one as a pet, it is best to only
have one. If you have two, they will bond to each other and forget about
you!
A cockatiel cage is just fine for them. Give them a good diet and care,
they can live to 20+ years.
