AFRICAN GREYS

African Greys are the ulitmate talking machine. They are
known for their fantastic talking ability and imating objects. (Unfortunately,
my Paco
didn't read the book!) They can whistle, imitate just about anything
and can be very affectionate towards their owner. Some birds will
bond
very closely to their favorite family member.
They can live to 60+ years so take that in mind when acquiring
an African Grey or any large parrot. They like a spacious cage with plenty
toys
to amuse them. They do love their toys. Change their toys frequently
so they won't get bored.
African Greys do best on a pelleted diet. Eating mostly seeds tend
to cause problems for them especially in the calcium department. Give
plenty
of fresh foods also.
